The included ErgoPack adds joint configurations for further fitting adjustments, while replacement pads support ongoing maintenance.

For students, orchestral musicians, and chamber players choosing an adjustable maple shoulder rest, this design offers several ways to personalize instrument support. Shape the wooden body carefully according to the manual, then refine the leg settings. Musicians seeking a violin rest with height adjustment can also change its position relative to the shoulder or chest using the supplied fittings.

Pirastro identifies the violin version as article 700010 and supplies a Torx key, the star-shaped tool used for its adjustment screws. The ErgoPack contains barrel and flat joints that expand the available configurations, including options for narrower instruments. Rubber feet grip the instrument at its edges, while contact pads cushion the player-facing surface. Follow the manufacturer's setup instructions and check screw tightness after making adjustments.

Key Features

Bendable Maple Body: Allows careful shaping to follow the player's shoulder according to the supplied instructions.

Height and Tilt Adjustment: Helps players refine the support angle and distance from the instrument.

Adjustable Position: Offers configurations that move the rest relative to the shoulder and chest.

Included ErgoPack: Adds barrel and flat joints for a wider selection of fitting arrangements.

Rubber-Covered Feet: Provides grip at the instrument's edges.

Replaceable Contact Pads: Includes four spare pads for maintaining the cushioned support surface.

Supplied Adjustment Tool: Includes a size 8 Torx key for the rest's screws.

Technical Specifications

Brand: Pirastro.

Model: KorfkerRest Model 2 Violin.

Manufacturer Article Number: 700010.

Product Type: Violin shoulder rest.

Body Material: Bendable maple.

Leg Material: Aluminum alloy.

Foot Construction: Aluminum alloy, polyamide, and rubber.

Adjustments: Body contour, position, height, and tilt.

Additional Fitting System: ErgoPack barrel and flat joints.

Adjustment Tool: Torx key, size 8.

Weight: Approximately 0.1 lb.

Replacement Pads Included: 4.

Spare Locking Rings Included: 6.

What's In the Box

KorfkerRest Model 2 violin shoulder rest.

ErgoPack with screws.

Size 8 Torx key.

Four replacement rubber pads.

Six locking rings.

Protection bag.

Printed manual.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0630/3085/3829/files/1-pirastro-srpk_bd8eebf6-5b9c-44d6-8d66-62bee8c4d83f.jpg?v=1792429590
