Its click system adjusts the fit for 3/4 through 4/4 violins. Folding legs reduce its storage footprint, while threaded feet let players adjust the height to suit their setup.

For students, orchestral musicians, and chamber players choosing an adjustable violin shoulder rest, the Luna offers several ways to refine instrument support. Different leg combinations change its width and position relative to the shoulder or chest. Musicians seeking a folding shoulder rest for violin can collapse the legs after playing and store the assembly in its included protection bag.

Pirastro specifies a custom composite polymer body and supplies six barrel legs, the interchangeable supports that connect the body to its rubber feet. The violin model accommodates lower-bout widths, measured across the instrument's wider lower body, from 7.3 to 8.3 inches. Follow the supplied fitting instructions when selecting leg combinations. Make shape and fit adjustments through the leg system; the body is not designed for bending.

Key Features

Shaped Composite Body: Provides a curved support surface with cushioned shoulder and chest contact areas.

Click-In Adjustment: Lets players reverse or exchange barrel legs to refine width and position.

3/4–4/4 Violin Fit: Accommodates the manufacturer's specified instrument-size range.

Adjustable Height: Threaded rubber feet move into or out of the legs to change the support height.

Folding Legs: Reduces the assembly's footprint for storage between sessions.

Rubber Contact Feet: Provides grip at the instrument attachment points.

Included Fitting Accessories: Supplies alternative legs, replacement pads, and O-rings for adjustment and maintenance.

Technical Specifications

Brand: Pirastro.

Model: KorfkerRest Luna Violin.

Manufacturer Article Number: 700050.

Product Type: Violin shoulder rest.

Instrument Compatibility: 3/4–4/4 violins.

Lower-Bout Width Range: 7.3–8.3 inches with the supplied violin legs.

Body Material: Composite polymer.

Instrument Contact: Rubber feet.

Player Contact: Cushioned pads.

Adjustment: Interchangeable and reversible barrel legs; threaded feet for height.

Storage Configuration: Folding legs.

Included Barrel Legs: Six total, including four alternatives.

Weight: Approximately 0.1 lb.

Folded Bridge Dimensions: 8.7 inches long x 1 inch wide.

Folded Shoulder-Side Height: 1.3 inches.

Folded Chest-Side Height: 1.2 inches.

Rubber Foot Width: 2.4 inches.

Body Adjustment Restriction: Do not reshape by bending.

What's In the Box

KorfkerRest Luna violin shoulder rest with fitted legs, rubber feet, and contact pads.

Four alternative barrel legs, providing six legs in total.

Two replacement rubber pads.

Four small replacement O-rings.

Four large replacement O-rings.

Organic cotton protection bag.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0630/3085/3829/files/1-pirastro-srpklv_943f7d22-0f59-4d68-a7f5-14d2aef271a6.jpg?v=1792429598
