Its 12" dual-voice-coil driver operates in an underground enclosure with an exposed sound port. The manufacturer specifies 300W power handling, IP66 protection and support for up to two subwoofers per system.

Choose this landscape subwoofer when planning bass coverage for a patio, garden or outdoor gathering area. Burial installation reduces the amount of visible equipment, while vertical and horizontal configurations give installers placement options. For an existing UltraScape12 audio installation, check the amplifier, wiring arrangement and current component count before adding another subwoofer. Plan excavation and drainage around the selected location.

The two voice coils provide separate left- and right-channel connections within the supported system wiring. TruAudio instructs installers to use speakers from the UltraScape12 family and waterproof connections. The included silicone-filled wire nuts support those connections, while the ASA and HDPVC enclosure houses the driver below ground. Follow the installation manual for burial depth, drainage material and the required port clearance above the finished surface.

Key Features

Dedicated outdoor bass: Add a 12" long-throw driver to compatible landscape audio installations.

Discreet placement: Bury the enclosure while retaining the sound port above ground.

Flexible orientation: Install vertically or horizontally according to the site plan.

Dual-channel connection: Connect separate left and right signals through the dual-voice-coil design.

Outdoor protection: IP66-rated construction supports landscape use.

Installation accessories: Four silicone-filled wire nuts are included.

Technical Specifications

Brand: TruAudio

Model/MPN: ULTRA12-SUB

Compatible System: UltraScape12

Speaker Type: Underground subwoofer

Driver: 12" dual-voice-coil, long-throw

Voice-Coil Diameter: 2"

Published Power Handling: 5-300W

Frequency Response: 30Hz-300Hz, ±3dB

Sensitivity: 90dB at 1W/1m

Input: Two-channel audio signal

Output: Two-channel signal

Enclosure Materials: ASA and HDPVC

Ingress Protection: IP66

Installation Orientations: Vertical or horizontal

Vertical Dimensions: 16" x 16" x 35"

Horizontal Dimensions: 29.6" x 15.9" x 27.7"

Product Weight: 33 lb

Maximum System Subwoofers: Two total

Warranty: Limited five-year manufacturer warranty

What's In the Box

1 x ULTRA12-SUB 12" underground subwoofer

4 x silicone-filled wire nuts

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0630/3085/3829/files/1-truaudio-ultra12-sub_8495024c-78e1-4792-9ed8-86a809231dfa.jpg?v=1793744741
https://avlgear.com/products/truaudio-ultra12sub-ultrascape12-300w-outdoor-burial-subwoofer-12-inches
