Engineered for excellence, the JBL C65P/T features a large 200 mm (8 in) diameter waveguide combined with low-frequency projection apertures. The two coaxially-mounted drivers achieve seamless integration of coverage, leading to extremely even pattern control. The wide 120-degree coverage pattern minimizes the need for multiple speakers, thereby reducing system costs without compromising on performance. The included single-point mounting system with extra-long 4.5 m (15 ft) high tensile galvanized steel wire rope ensures secure suspension for ease of installation in any open-ceiling application.

This sophisticated speaker system incorporates a 130 mm (5¼ in) low-frequency driver with a polypropylene-coated cone and a 25 mm (1 in) high-power copper voice coil with a vented fiberglass resin coil-former, ensuring long-term reliability. The 20 mm (¾ in) textile soft dome high-frequency driver is designed with internal damping, an aluminum voice coil former, and a neodymium magnet assembly with ferrofluid cooling, offering crystal-clear sound quality and enhanced durability. The JBL C65P/T also includes a 60 Watt multi-tap transformer for use on 70V/100V distributed loudspeaker lines and is switchable for 8-ohm voice-coil direct operation, providing versatility in various audio setups.
