Designed with high power handling and low distortion in mind, the CONTROL 40CS/T subwoofer features an 8-inch woofer with a polypropylene cone and a pure butyl-rubber surround for long-lasting durability. Its copper-clad aluminum voice coil, wound on a vented aluminum former, ensures low distortion and high sensitivity, resulting in an incredibly natural and full-bodied bass response. This subwoofer also includes a built-in passive crossover network, allowing it to seamlessly integrate into subwoofer-satellite systems when paired with JBL's Control 42C.

The CONTROL 40CS/T's large backcan and high-powered driver provide extended bass response, making it suitable for applications requiring wide bandwidth and superior sonic clarity.
