Introducing the Camden CX-WEC Series - The Ideal Equipment Package for Universal RestroomsThe Camden CX-WEC Series is the perfect equipment package designed to comply with the latest building code standards for universal restrooms. This Emergency Call system can be installed in bathrooms without an automatic door operator or with CX-WC Series barrier-free restroom kits (with operator).The CX-WEC10K2 Emergency Control Kit is a user-friendly device that allows an individual to signal for help by pressing the “PRESS FOR EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE” button. This activates the sounders built into both the “Assistance Required” annunciator on the outside and the “Assistance Requested” annunciator on the inside of the location.The kit also includes signage instructing users to press the button in the event of an emergency, and an audible and visual signal will activate. The CX-WEC10K2 kit comes with the inside activation and annunciator built onto a double gang combo plate, making installations quicker since only one back box is needed rather than two single gang boxes.Note: The CX-WEC10K2 Emergency Call System complies with OBC Regulation 368/13, Section 3.8.3.12.Key FeaturesThe kit includes a CM-AF540SODouble gang, push/pull mushroom push button, red, 'Assistance Required', w/ LED annunciator and adjustable sounder, 'Assistance Requested'.Also included is a CM-AF141SOSingle Gang LED Dome Light, w/ Sounder.The kit also contains a CM-SE21A English, solid white sign, ‘IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY PUSH EMERGENCY BUTTON AND AUDIBLE AND VISUAL SIGNAL WILL ACTIVATE’.Both the CM-AF540SO and the CM-AF141SO can be powered with either 12/24 VAC/VDC.This kit is ideal for universal restrooms with or without low energy door operators.It provides annunciation inside and outside the restroom with audible sound adjustment.The push/pull ‘Press for Emergency Assistance’ maintained mushroom push button can be used with latching relay for momentary switches, including tape (ribbon) switches.A new single gang multi-color LED dome light with sounder (Red, Green, Blue or White) is available as an individual component or in the CX-WEC10BK2 emergency control kit.The CX-WEC Series emergency call systems are available in English, French, and Bilingual.This kit is compatible with all Camden ‘CX-WC’ barrier-free restroom control kits and comes with a 3-year warranty.
