The Remote Air 2 wireless follow focus is not just a new generation of the Remote Air--it's a new experience. The Remote Air 2 perfectly combines the receiver into the lens motor, reducing the weight by 200g. Imported from Germany, the brushless motor is impeccable and can drive various professional camera lenses such as the Angenieux/Arri Ultra/Cooke.

7200 Resolution
The brand new Remote Air 2 wireless follow focus reaches a resolution of 7200 after optimization. It divides the hand wheel of the controller into 7200 levels, and each small turn is displayed on the OLED screen. No matter how small the rotation is, the Remote Air 2 can react to it. Compared with the 500 resolution of the Remote Air, the accuracy of the Remote Air 2 is 13.4 times better.

High Precision Brushless Motor
The Remote Air 2 displays the most important contents such as the current channel in use. With a short press of the ON/OFF Channel button, you can easily change the channel. The screen also displays the signal strength of the Hand Control Unit and the receiver when interworking. It also displays the percent of battery remaining on the controller and the receiver’s voltage.

Lighter, Thinner, More Robust
We have redesigned the motor to weigh only 170g, which is 430g lighter when compared to the 1st generation motor and 600g lighter than the max torque motor. The high torque and robust motor is much stronger than previous designs. It can operate any lens on the market from affordable still lenses to high end cine lenses. It is PD Movie's thinnest and lightest motor ever. Utilizing high end brushless motors that are quiet and accurate and a low profile design that measures only 19mm thin, the Remote Air 2 is perfect for gimbal and Steadicam work.

Magnetic "Glow-in-the-Dark" Marking Ring
Each follow focus has its unique marking method, and the Remote Air 2 does as well. Its marking ring achieves automatic decimal alignment simultaneously when it is attached to the controller rotary table. Quickly mark the stroke scale with the magnetic attachment and the Remote Air's automatic stroke detection function. When you use a new lens, you can save previously aligned marking rings to be used later.
