The F21x's flexible fabric mat stretches taut onto the included folding X-Frame to form a rigid 2x1 panel that mounts to a C-stand grip head via the Straight Baby Pin adapter or to any light stand with the included Right Angle Baby Pin and tilting mount. The included foldable softbox with two diffusion strengths and a fabric grid instantly converts the mat into a controlled soft light source. For wider use cases, the F21x pairs with the amaran F21 Lantern modifier for volumetric or pancake light configurations.

The Gold Mount battery plate powers the F21x via Gold Mount batteries at 14.4V, 26V, or 28.8V via 3-Pin XLR, and the multi-voltage AC supply handles studio use.
