Klipsch ME-800-C Fire-Rated In-Ceiling Speaker Enclosure
The Klipsch ME-800-C is a fire-rated metal enclosure designed for in-ceiling speakers with 8-inch woofers. Constructed from high-grade cold-rolled steel and filled with insulation, this enclosure helps meet building codes and reduces sound transmission between rooms by at least 10dB. Its optimized enclosure volume ensures consistent acoustic performance, regardless of construction variations.
Compatible with all Reference Series in-ceiling speakers with 8-inch woofers, the ME-800-C fits 16- or 24-inch stud spans and offers provisions for standard conduit connections. Pre-drilled holes simplify the installation process, and the inside edge of the mounting ring is color-coded to match the corresponding Klipsch installation kit size code. Mounting screws are not included and are sold separately.
