The PS8-II power sequencer is built to eliminate the momentary pops and turn-on/turn-off transients that can occur when powering up audio and A/V gear. By powering your equipment up and down in a controlled order, it helps prevent loud spikes from reaching speakers and reduces inrush current to better protect sensitive components.

With eight rear AC outlets that sequence in order and a global variable Sequence Delay of up to two seconds per outlet, the PS8-II makes it easy to power amplifiers last and shut them down first—so your system stays quiet until everything is ready. It also functions as a full-featured 1U rackmount power conditioner, providing surge and spike protection along with EMI/RFI filtering to reduce unwanted high-frequency noise, including digital and dimmer hash.

For installation and control flexibility, the PS8-II includes a rear 4-pin Euroblock connector for remote on/off sequence switching, plus a convenient unswitched front-panel AC outlet for quick access. It’s an ideal fit for live venues, studios, fixed installations, conferencing environments, and high-performance A/V systems.
