The Atlona AT-HDR-M2C is a 4K HDR HDMI audio converter designed to downmix multi-channel digital audio to two-channel stereo or analog formats. It is ideal for installations where HDMI sources with surround sound must interface with two-channel sound systems or displays that only accept stereo audio.
This converter supports HDMI 2.0a signals up to 18 Gbps, including 4K/UHD at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma and HDR formats, and is fully HDCP 2.2 compliant. The unit features HDMI input and pass-through outputs, along with analog stereo and optical TOSLINK audio outputs for maximum flexibility. Built-in EDID management and tone controls (volume, bass, and treble) can be configured via network or web interface.
