The Audio-Technica AT6104x Headshell Lead Wires are designed for high-quality cartridge-to-headshell signal transmission in compatible turntable setups. Built with Pure Copper Ultra High Drawability wire, these lead wires help deliver clear sound image localization and rich audio performance, making them a useful upgrade or replacement part for vinyl playback systems that require dependable headshell wiring.
Each AT6104x lead wire uses a 29-strand construction with individual 0.0047" Pure Copper Ultra High Drawability wire strands. This fine-strand design supports stable signal transfer between the cartridge and headshell while helping preserve detail, clarity, and musical character from the record groove through the playback chain.
To improve vibration control, Audio-Technica adds mica filler to the PVC sheath. This construction helps widen both high- and low-frequency response while giving low frequencies more impact. The result is a headshell lead wire set designed not only for reliable connectivity but also for clean, well-balanced analog sound reproduction.
The AT6104x also features gold-plated triangular lead tips, engineered to create three solid contact points with cartridge and headshell pins. This design helps provide secure contact, stable signal transmission, superior conductivity, and corrosion resistance.
