The Blackmagic Design Videohub Mini 8x4 12G is a compact zero-latency SDI video router with 8 x 12G-SDI inputs and 4 x 12G-SDI outputs, plus dedicated reference connections for locking clean switch outputs to a house sync reference. This is the largest model in the Videohub Mini range, providing the most routing flexibility for mid-size broadcast facilities, production trucks, and equipment racks.
All 8 inputs support frame synchronization for clean switching, and the per-output clean switch control enables different behavior for different destinations. A HyperDeck recorder can receive a direct, non-clean-switch feed while a monitor output uses clean switching for seamless source changes.
