Bose Professional DesignMax DM5P is a pendant loudspeaker system designed for indoor commercial audio installations. It enables background music playback and voice reproduction for system designers and integrators, supporting distributed audio workflows. This makes it ideal for open-ceiling environments where suspended mounting and consistent coverage are required.
The loudspeakers operate using a coaxial two-way transducer design with a passive crossover and Dispersion Alignment system. They support low-impedance operation as well as 70V and 100V distributed systems through selectable transformer taps. A recessed single-point suspension system allows pendant installation while keeping mounting hardware concealed.
The system supports applications that require compact pendant loudspeakers with controlled, even dispersion. It is suited for hospitality, retail, worship, and commercial spaces with exposed ceilings. The design allows integration with other DesignMax loudspeakers and compatible Bose Professional electronics.
