Cobalt Digital BBG-F-TO-H-ST Blue Box 3G/HD/SD-SDI Fiber Optic-to-HDMI Extender-Converter Transceiver
Cobalt Digital BBG-F-TO-H-ST Blue Box 3G/HD/SD-SDI Fiber Optic-to-HDMI Extender-Converter Transceiver
Cobalt Digital proudly announces the release of the BBG-F-TO-H-ST Blue Box! A 3G/HD/SD-SDI Fiber Optic-to-HDMI Converter & transceiver with ST, "bayonet" style fiber connectors. This is the SDI/HDMI/Fiber extender/repeater/converter/De-embbeder you've be looking for. On the surface it functions as a simple, yet effective, SDI to Fiber extender. Using ST Singlemode fiber cable, distances of 10 km/6 miles (3Gbps), 20 km/12 miles (1.5Gbps), and 35 km/22 miles (270Mbps) can be achieved. With Multimode typically 200 m (656 ft). The BBG-F-TO-H acts as a transceiver so 2 are needed. On the transmit end, simply Input your 3G/HD/SD SDI signal and output ST fiber. On the receiving end input your ST fiber signal and output 3G/HD/SD SDI as well as HDMI up to 22 miles away!
Key Features
- Flexible crosspoint and multiple inputs/outputs provide fiber-to-HDMI, SDI-to-fiber, and fiber regen conversions. HDMI output can be set as DVI-D for direct connection to computer monitors.
- Direct conversion to HDMI from SMPTE 259M, 292M and 424M SDI
- Powers directly from host equipment USB or standard corded power adapter. USB power and corded adapter can be simultaneously used to provide redundant power sourcing.
- Configurable using device DIP switches or USB GUI remote control offering dynamic configuration control, status display, and other advanced control functions not commonly found on "throwdown" packages
- Compact size and low weight design easily affixes directly to camera or host device chassis
- Singlemode fiber link distance >10 km (3Gbps), >20 km (1.5Gbps), and >35 km (270Mbps). Multimode typically >200 m.
- Rugged construction backed with a five-year warranty
