The SoundTube CM42‑EZs‑II is a compact commercial-grade in‑ceiling speaker featuring a two‑way coaxial design with a 4″ woofer and 0.75″ silk-dome tweeter. It is engineered for applications with limited plenum space, offering effective speech intelligibility and background music in hotels, airports, offices, and restaurants.
Its shallow backcan (3.75″ depth) and blind‑mount “SpeedWing” system allow quick installation in ceilings under 1″ thick. With transformer taps for 25/70.7/100V and a low‑impedance 16Ω bypass option, it supports both standard and distributed audio systems.
The speaker delivers excellent efficiency (87.5dB sensitivity) and ample power handling (20W RMS, 40W program) with a wide frequency response and robust certifications (UL1480A/2043, CE, RoHS, EN54‑24 compliant).
