The ART M-Six Stereo is a matched pair of small-diaphragm condenser microphones built for accurate stereo recording with a neutral, transparent sound. With fast transient response and a consistent cardioid pickup pattern across the full frequency range, the M-Six pair is an excellent choice for capturing detail and imaging on acoustic guitar, piano, drum overheads, percussion, and orchestral strings.
Each microphone includes a switchable pad for high-SPL sources and a three-position high-pass filter to reduce rumble and tighten low-end buildup. The set is packaged for real-world studio and location work, including an aluminum carrying case, custom shockmounts, and foam covers.
