Audio-Technica AT-VM95SP/H 78 RPM Cartridge & Headshell Combo Kit

The Audio-Technica AT-VM95SP/H pairs the VM95SP dual moving magnet cartridge with a universal headshell in one ready-to-play combo — purpose-built for 78 RPM records. Its 3.0 mil conical stylus is sized for the wider grooves of shellac 78s, letting collectors and archivists play historic discs correctly instead of grinding them with a standard LP needle.

Like the rest of the VM95 family, the cartridge features an aluminum cantilever and specially wound coils that increase output voltage for a healthy signal into any phono stage. Threaded inserts in the cartridge body mean it mounts to the included universal half-inch headshell with just two screws — no nuts required — and the assembled unit drops onto any standard 4-pin tonearm collar. Swap it on when the 78s come out, swap it off when you return to LPs.
