The Tripp Lite SmartRack SRW12US is a compact 12U wall-mount rack enclosure designed to securely house and organize 19-inch EIA-standard rack equipment in environments with limited floor space. Ideal for network wiring closets, classrooms, retail locations, and back offices, this enclosure provides secure, out-of-the-way equipment storage while maintaining easy accessibility.
Hinged Design for Easy Rear Access
The cabinet swings away from the wall on a heavy-duty hinge, allowing convenient rear access to equipment and cabling during installation and maintenance. Reversible doors can be configured to open left or right by rotating the cabinet 180 degrees prior to mounting, providing flexible installation options.
Secure, Ventilated Steel Construction
Constructed from heavy-duty steel with a black powder-coated finish, the SRW12US supports up to 200 pounds of equipment. Locking doors and side panels help protect valuable equipment from tampering or theft. Vented front, top, bottom, and side panels promote efficient airflow to keep equipment cool and operating reliably.
Flexible Installation and Equipment Support
The enclosure ships fully assembled and mounts easily to wall studs spaced 16 inches apart. Vertical mounting rails adjust in 7/8-inch increments to support equipment up to 20.5 inches deep, such as network switches and patch panels. The cabinet also supports square-hole and 12-24 threaded mounting hardware, with numbered rack spaces for simple installation.
