The ELATION PROTEUS EXCALIBUR is an extreme long-throw moving head fixture, engineered for high-impact aerial effects and outdoor productions. Designed to deliver intense, precise beams over great distances, the EXCALIBUR integrates a 550W Philips MSD Platinum 500L Flex lamp capable of producing 20,000 lumens at 7000K with a CRI of 77+. With a 0.8° beam angle and 3.5° beam expander lens, it’s perfect for sky-painting, stadium events, cruise ships, or large-scale theatrical applications.
EXCALIBUR’s innovative optical system features dual rotating prisms, prism macros, and dual frost filters for hybrid wash effects, providing lighting designers full control over both hard beams and atmospheric washes. Its motorized focus, high-speed mechanical shutter, and strobe effects allow for dramatic, dynamic presentations that can be precisely tailored for any environment. Variable lamp power and automated lamp hibernation ensure efficient energy use without compromising performance, with up to 4,000 hours of lamp life under standard conditions.
The fixture also offers robust outdoor and weather-resistant operation thanks to its IP65-rated housing, allowing safe deployment in harsh environments.
