The EMG ES-918 18V External Power Supply for EMG Pickups is an external 18 Volt power supply for EMG Pickups. If you have an instrument that doesn’t fit a battery or you don’t want to install a battery in your guitar, the ES-918 is perfect for you. You can easily power your EMG pickups with 9 or 18 volts using a stereo cable.
In addition to batteries, the ES-918 has the option of an external DC input for powering your guitar from an outlet or your power supply. A standby switch allows you to mute your instrument. Your guitar, battery, and external DC supply are all protected by a re-settable fuse in case the input/output are reversed. You will need a stereo cable (TRS to TRS) to run from your instrument to the ES-918 which is not included.
