The ES-249 is designed to accept an RS232C/ASCII signal and output up to eight identical copies.The unit has a single input and eight outputs that are accessible on rear-mounted 9-pin D-sub connectors. Due to the nature of the RS232Csignal, if long runs of cable are required, it may be necessary to distribute a different time code that is then "translated" into RS232C/ASCII before entering the "user."
