AVPro Edge AC-EX40-444-KIT is an HDBaseT extender kit designed to send UHD HDMI over category cable for professional AV installations. It extends high bandwidth 4K60 4:4:4 video with HDR support for clean, reliable HDMI distribution. Use it to move source signals to a remote display while keeping the install simple and serviceable.
This extender kit supports HDMI 2.0 transport with up to 18 Gbps bandwidth using Invisible Compression Technology. It supports up to 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 and includes downscaling from 4K and HDR down to 2K for mixed-resolution systems. Configurable bidirectional control for IR and RS232 plus EDID management helps resolve interoperability challenges in real installs.
Power over HDBaseT enables the transmitter and receiver to be powered from a single selectable unit for flexible placement. Always-active PCM 2 channel audio extraction supports simple analog audio feeds when the source is set to 2 channel output. Onboard test patterns support faster troubleshooting and verification during commissioning.
