The AVPro Edge AC-EXO-444-KIT is a single-mode fiber HDMI extender kit built to extend 18 Gbps HDMI 4K/60 fps video over long distances. It supports HDR workflows and is designed for visually lossless transmission using Invisible Compression Technology. Use it to push 4K content to remote displays in commercial, industrial, and large residential installations.
This extender kit can transmit up to 2 km (1.25 mi) over single-mode OS2 fiber optic cabling and also supports multi-mode fiber for shorter runs. It supports HDMI 2.0a and 2.0b, HDCP 2.2 compatibility, and dynamic EDID management including EDID Copy and EDID Emulation. TX and RX units include HD and UHD test patterns to help confirm signal and system status.
Fiber helps eliminate EMI and RFI interference that can affect category cabling in noise-prone environments. Built-in downscaling allows 4K, including HDR, to be scaled to 1080p where legacy displays remain in use. Bidirectional control transport and ARC pass-through support simplify integration for control rooms, data centers, surveillance facilities, and demanding AV installs.
