The MuxLab 12G-SDI Repeater (Model 500742) is engineered for professional video production, broadcasting, live events, mobile video rigs, studio-to-studio links, and medical imaging setups — anywhere a clean, stable SDI signal over long distances is critical. With built-in amplification and re-clocking technology, this repeater boosts incoming 12G-SDI (and lower SDI standards) signals and reclocks them to preserve video integrity and minimize jitter, ensuring your 4K and HD video remains pristine even after long cable runs.
The unit supports automatic source video format detection, so whether your signal is 12G, 6G, 3G, HD or SD-SDI, the repeater will adapt seamlessly. Embedded 16-channel, 24-bit audio is preserved, making this ideal for scenarios where high-quality audio/video sync is non-negotiable — from broadcast trucks and post-production suites to live-event venues and mobile installations.
Installation is plug-and-play, with rugged construction and integrated mounting brackets to accommodate rack or shelf mounting. On the rear you’ll find one 12G-SDI BNC input and one 12G-SDI BNC loop output, plus a locking power-supply connector and a USB port for firmware upgrades or software control. A status LED indicates the Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) video signal lock, giving instant feedback on signal stability.
