Gefen GF-HDK18G-VIP-TX 4K HDMI & USB-C KVM Over IP Sender

Gefen GF-HDK18G-VIP-TX KVM Over IP Sender

The Gefen GF-HDK18G-VIP-TX KVM over IP sender distributes HDMI or USB-C video, audio, and control through a Gigabit network. It accepts resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 color sampling. Pair it with separately sold compatible receivers to extend keyboard, video, and mouse access across connected workstations.

Designed for professional AV installations, this Gen3 transmitter serves digital signage networks, classrooms, meeting spaces, and control rooms. HDMI and USB-C inputs accommodate different source connections, while a local HDMI output supports monitoring at the source. Independent signal routing lets installers configure networked workstation control and multi-display video distribution around each installation's requirements.

HDR, or high dynamic range, support includes HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. AES-256 encryption supports protected network distribution, while IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet supplies power through a compatible switch. Network installations require a managed Gigabit switch with IGMP Snooping and jumbo frames of at least 8K. Gefen recommends Syner-G software and the optional GF-AVIP-MC controller for configuration and management.

Key Features
