The Schaller STM 12080201.11 is a high-quality Tune-O-Matic roller bridge designed specifically for Les Paul®-style guitars equipped with Bigsby® vibratos. Engineered to enhance tuning stability and sustain, this bridge features low-friction roller saddles that ensure smooth string movement, making it ideal for both live performances and studio recordings. The STM bridge is compatible with post spacings ranging from 74.0 to 74.5 mm, offering versatility for various guitar models.
Crafted from solid Pure Sound brass, the saddles provide excellent sound transmission and can be easily customized by guitar makers using a saddle file. The bridge includes two different types of saddle rollers: wide flat rollers for low strings (E, A, D) and tight U-shaped rollers for high strings (G, B, E). This design allows for optimal string bending and tonal clarity. Additionally, the STM bridge is available in multiple surface finishes and configurations, including reverse and non-reverse models, to suit different aesthetic preferences and playing styles.
