Description
The Headliner HL12027 Pro-Fit Case gives the Akai Professional MPC Live III genuine hardshell protection without the weight of a wooden flight case. Its core is molded EVA, a rigid foam that absorbs impacts and holds its shape, wrapped in a water-resistant polyester shell that shrugs off spills, light rain and dust. The interior is sized specifically to the MPC Live III, and removable snug-fit foam inserts sit over the top panel so the pads, knobs, encoders and buttons are cushioned rather than resting against the lid.
Everything you touch on this MPC Live III case is built to last. The hooks and latches are all metal, the zippers are heavy duty, and the ergonomic carry handle is comfortable for a walk across a venue or a parking lot. A removable shoulder strap is included for hands-free carrying when you also have a laptop bag or cable case in tow.
With exterior dimensions of 20 x 15 x 3.75 inches and a weight of only 3 pounds, the Pro-Fit Case adds almost nothing to the footprint of the MPC Live III itself. Producers, finger drummers and live performers who want their sampler protected on every trip will find it a simple, affordable alternative to a padded gig bag, and it slides easily into a backpack, backseat or overhead compartment alongside the rest of a mobile production kit.
