Headliner HL13004 Downtown Hard Case for Akai MPC Live III

Built for producers who carry their Akai MPC Live III from the studio to the stage, the Headliner HL13004 Downtown Case wraps the standalone sampler in a rigid, road-ready shell. Space-grey aluminum profiles frame ABS-laminated MDF panels, giving the case the look and strength of a traditional flight case at a fraction of the bulk. A high-density foam interior is cut to the exact outline of the MPC Live III so the unit cannot shift in transit, while egg-crate foam in the lid presses gently over the pads, knobs and encoders to keep them from taking pressure or impact.

Practical touches make the Downtown Case easy to live with. A separate compartment keeps the power supply, USB cable and audio leads organized next to the MPC rather than loose on top of it. Lockable latches with two included keys secure the lid, and a padded carry handle plus a removable shoulder strap with all-metal hooks give two ways to carry the case between gigs, sessions and travel.

At 20 x 16 x 5 inches and 7.5 pounds, this MPC Live III hard case stays compact enough for a car trunk or an overhead bin while still delivering real protection. It is the natural upgrade from a soft bag for anyone who tours, teaches or collaborates with the MPC Live III and wants their sampler to arrive in the same condition it left.
