The Atlona AT-VCC-RS232-KIT is an IP to RS-232 command converter designed for use with the Atlona Velocity™ Control System. It enables reliable communication between IP-based Velocity controllers and AV devices that rely on RS-232 serial control. This compact, discreet module ensures seamless integration for displays, projectors, DSPs, and other serial-controlled hardware within modern AV environments.
The VCC-RS232-KIT is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or through a local USB power source, allowing flexible deployment options. It includes a 5-foot (1.5-meter) RS-232 adapter cable with a DB9 connector and gender changer for compatibility with a wide range of equipment. The device installs easily using the included surface-mount dock, locking securely in place for dependable installation.
