It integrates with the myQ Community ecosystem so residents can use supported smartphones for controlled entry at doors, gates, elevators, parking areas, and shared spaces.

Designed for multifamily buildings, gated communities, and commercial access points, the SRDRST gives integrators a migration path from traditional cards and fobs to encrypted mobile credentials. Users can access supported entrances through Tap, Touch, or Alert interactions in the myQ Community app. Wiegand connectivity supports existing access-control infrastructure, while OSDP capabilities provide an option for compatible secure reader communication.

The single-gang reader is suitable for new installations and retrofit projects, with IP55 environmental protection for indoor or outdoor placement. Its electronics use a conformal silicone water-resistant coating, and the reader operates from 5-16 VDC.
