True to Nicko’s uncompromising standards, the Icarus is handbuilt in the UK using British Drum Co.’s unique cold-press moulding process for exceptional tone and durability.
Constructed from a 10-ply Black Oak shell and finished in a stunning Black Fishtail Oak veneer, the Icarus delivers the warmth and depth of wood with the visual drama of a hand-hammered metal snare. Its tonal range is vast—deep and resonant at low tunings, yet bright and articulate under higher tension.
