MuxLab 500866-WP-WH is a wall plate KVM over IP workstation transceiver designed for networked AV and workstation environments. It enables HDMI video, audio, and USB control transmission over Ethernet for users requiring centralized access to multiple computers or servers. This makes it ideal for control rooms, collaborative workspaces, and enterprise systems where remote access and switching are critical.
The transceiver supports HDMI up to 4K at 30Hz using H.264 and H.265 compression over Cat5e or Cat6 networks. It allows point to point and point to multipoint configurations while supporting workstation video wall functionality and seamless switching. Network-based operation enables content sharing, source preview, and flexible routing across distributed systems.
In real-world applications, the unit supports efficient management of multiple computers from a single workstation over IP. PoE power simplifies installation by reducing the need for local power sources. This supports reliable operation in professional AV and IT deployments.
