AVPro Edge 10G/25G/40G Active Optical Cable

The AVPro Edge Active Optical Cable family combines nine direct-attach multimode fiber options in one listing, with data-rate choices of 10G, 25G, or 40G and cable lengths of 39.4", 78.7", or 118.1". Each rating uses the appropriate SFP-family connector for its supported network bandwidth.

These high-speed active optical cables are designed for short rack-to-rack fiber connections and MXNet switch stacking without separate optical transceivers and patch cables. The 10G SFP+ versions connect compatible MXNet 10G transceivers, control boxes, and network switches, while the 25G SFP28 and 40G QSFP+ variants support higher-bandwidth switch stacking applications.

All versions use Multi-Mode Fiber and a hot-pluggable direct-attach design. The family features a 0.3" minimum bend radius, an OFNP-rated jacket, Class 1 FDA laser safety, and RoHS compliance. Rating-specific MSA standards include SFF-8431 for 10G SFP+, SFF-8432 for 25G SFP28, and SFF-8436 for 40G QSFP+ connections.
