The BOSS OD-200 Hybrid Drive overdrive and distortion pedal combines analog and digital drive circuitry with 12 primary modes and 15 selectable boost types. Series or parallel boost routing, three-band EQ, an adjustable noise gate, and 127 user memories give guitarists extensive control over classic overdrive, distortion, high-gain, and fuzz sounds.

The OD-200 suits players building a flexible guitar drive pedal for stage, studio, or pedalboard use. Its dedicated Drive, Level, Low, Middle, High, and Parameter controls provide immediate adjustment without menu-heavy operation. Players can stack the boost before or after the main drive in series or blend the two paths in parallel for more complex gain textures.

Audio processing operates at 96 kHz with 32-bit A/D and D/A conversion and 32-bit floating-point internal processing. Buffered bypass helps maintain signal integrity, while external control connections support footswitches, expression pedals, and MIDI equipment. Current firmware expands the original memory architecture to 127 user memories plus the real-time Manual setting for 128 accessible setups.
