The BOSS VE-5 Vocal Performer in Red is a compact, mobile personal effects processor and looper built for vocalists who want professional vocal processing in a mic-stand-mountable tabletop unit. Designed for singers, rappers, beatboxers, webcasters, and anyone who wants to have fun with their vocal sound, the VE-5 delivers six powerful effect types inherited from BOSS's professional vocal processing heritageāall accessible with simple one-touch controls for on-the-fly adjustments during performance.
The VE-5 provides Reverb, Delay, Double/Harmony, Dynamics, Pitch Correct, and Tone/SFX effects, covering everything from professional studio polish to dramatic voice-changing transformation. The built-in phrase looper supports up to 38 seconds of mono loop recording, allowing vocalists and beatboxers to layer sounds in real time. A Favorite Sound function provides quick recall of a preferred preset, and the backlit 16-character x 2-line LCD display keeps all parameters visible even in low-light environments.
The VE-5 features an internal microphone plus an auxiliary input for blending external music, and connects to any PA via XLR output. It mounts directly onto most microphone stands for a clean performance setup and runs on four AA batteries for up to 20 hours (Ni-MH, phantom off) or via optional AC adapter. The VE-5 is available in two color optionsāWhite (WH) and Red (RD)āto suit personal preference. Fifty onboard memory slots store your complete effect configurations for instant recall.
