The JBL Control 414C/T Micro is a 4-inch two-way ceiling loudspeaker from the Control 400 Standard Coverage Series with a low-profile enclosure measuring just 4.6 inches deep - purpose-built for installations where ceiling plenum space is restricted without sacrificing the full-range performance of the standard Control 414C/T.

Architects and AV integrators working in renovated buildings, drop-ceiling retrofits, or tight plenum environments will find the Control 414C/T Micro offers the same coaxial driver configuration and 70V/100V transformer functionality as the full-depth model, with a significantly reduced backcan footprint. The 65 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range handles both background music and intelligible speech reinforcement across hospitality, retail, corporate, and education environments.

All Control 400 Series models are engineered with installer-friendly features: terminal covers with top and side cable entry, captive hand-screws for tool-free securing, and a captive dogear mounting system compatible with a wide range of ceiling thicknesses. The full-face magnetic grille is paintable and includes an integrated safety tether, meeting UL 1480A, UL 2043, NFPA 90A, and NFPA 70 requirements for plenum-rated installations.
