The JBL Control 447C/T is a 6.5-inch two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeaker from the Control 400 Premium Coverage Series, featuring JBL's Radiation Boundary Integrator (RBI) technology for broadband pattern control - providing 55 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and consistent, wide-area coverage for premium commercial audio applications.
Replacing the Control 47C/T, the 447C/T is engineered for flagship commercial environments including hotel lobbies, high-end retail, restaurants, museums, and corporate headquarters where both audio performance and architectural refinement are required. The broadband RBI pattern control reduces reflections and hot spots across large listening areas.
Like all Control 400 Premium Coverage Series models, the speaker features JBL's redesigned terminal covers with top and side cable entry, captive hand-screw securing, and a reliable dogear design for a wide range of ceiling thicknesses. The full-face magnetic grille is paintable and includes an integrated safety tether. Safety ratings include UL 1480A, UL 2043, NFPA 90A, and NFPA 70 for plenum-rated environments.
