The JBL Control 447LP is a 6.5-inch two-way RBI-equipped coaxial ceiling loudspeaker from the Control 400 Premium Coverage Series with a low-profile enclosure - delivering the same Radiation Boundary Integrator broadband pattern control and 65 Hz to 20 kHz coverage as the standard Control 447C/T in restricted-plenum premium installations.

For integrators who require the superior acoustic performance of JBL's RBI technology in shallow plenum environments, the Control 447LP eliminates the need to downgrade to a smaller driver. Ideal for boutique retail, hospitality, and corporate A/V installations where ceiling space is limited but audio quality standards remain high, the LP variant includes the same full 70V/100V transformer functionality as the full-depth model.

Like all Control 400 Premium Coverage Series models, the speaker features JBL's redesigned terminal covers with top and side cable entry, captive hand-screw securing, and a reliable dogear design for a wide range of ceiling thicknesses. The full-face magnetic grille is paintable and includes an integrated safety tether. Safety ratings include UL 1480A, UL 2043, NFPA 90A, and NFPA 70 for plenum-rated environments.
