Pirastro 1EPGLS Evah Pirazzi Gold Viola String Set, 4/4 Medium

Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Gold Viola String Set, 4/4 Medium

The Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Gold Viola String Set supplies four strings for a 4/4 instrument in medium gauge. The standard configuration combines a chrome-steel-wound steel A with synthetic-core D, G, and C strings. Silver windings cover the D and G, while tungsten-silver wraps the C. All four have ball ends.

For advancing students, orchestral musicians, and chamber players, this complete set offers a specified combination of core and winding materials. Musicians choosing full size viola strings receive the A, D, G, and C together for a complete replacement. Those seeking medium gauge viola strings can identify this configuration by manufacturer article number 425021.

The A string features a removable ball, giving players flexibility when matching its attachment to compatible fine-tuner hardware. The lower three strings use synthetic multifilament cores, constructed from multiple fibers beneath their metal windings. Pirastro lists this standard set in envelope packaging and recommends its matching Evah Pirazzi Gold rosin. Confirm your instrument's string-length requirements and tailpiece fittings before installation.
