Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Violin String Set - 4/4 / Ball End

Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Violin String Set

The Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Violin String Set pairs a silvery steel E with synthetic-core A, D, and G strings. These medium-gauge sets cover full-size and fractional violins. Choose 4/4 with a ball or loop E, or select 3/4-1/2 or 1/4-1/8 sizing with a ball E.

For players choosing replacement strings for solo repertoire, this construction supports detailed bow articulation across changing dynamics. The A string uses aluminum winding, while silver wraps the D and G. Students selecting strings for fractional violins can choose between two shared size groups, each covering the instrument sizes shown. Match that designation to your violin before ordering.

Check the E-string attachment against your tailpiece or fine tuner when selecting a full-size set. The ball-versus-loop distinction applies to that string alone; A, D, and G retain ball ends across these options. Pirastro also identifies this string family as suitable for electric violins and instruments fitted with piezo pickups, which convert bridge vibration into an electrical signal.

Key Features

• Four-string replacement: Covers E, A, D, and G in one matched set.
• Synthetic lower-string cores: Multifilament fibers form the foundation of the A, D, and G strings.
• Silvery steel E: Supplies the standard set's upper voice without a goldsteel substitution.
• Size-specific choices: Select full-size or fractional sizing to match your instrument.
• E attachment options: Full-size sets offer ball or loop ends for compatible tailpiece hardware.
• Fractional configurations: Both smaller size groups use ball ends on all four strings.
