The JBL Control 414C/T Microplus is a 4-inch two-way high-output ceiling loudspeaker from the Control 400 Standard Coverage Series, combining a low-profile 4.6-inch deep enclosure with higher power handling than the standard Micro variant - delivering elevated SPL capability in restricted-plenum environments that demand more acoustic output.

The Microplus is the go-to choice for integrators who need ceiling-depth flexibility without compromising system headroom. With a 160-degree wide coverage pattern and support for both 70V/100V distributed systems and direct 8-ohm operation, it serves large commercial spaces including airports, convention center lobbies, food courts, and open-plan offices where background music or paging must reach every listener.

All Control 400 Series models are engineered with installer-friendly features: terminal covers with top and side cable entry, captive hand-screws for tool-free securing, and a captive dogear mounting system compatible with a wide range of ceiling thicknesses. The full-face magnetic grille is paintable and includes an integrated safety tether, meeting UL 1480A, UL 2043, NFPA 90A, and NFPA 70 requirements for plenum-rated installations.
