The Opticis USC-CC32 is a USB Type-C to Type-C active optical cable (AOC) designed for long-distance, high-bandwidth connectivity. It supports SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 data transmission up to 10Gbps over cable runs up to 15m (50ft), making it a strong fit for professional AV, conferencing, education, and workstation environments where standard copper USB-C cables can fall short.
In addition to high-speed data, USC-CC32 supports USB Power Delivery for charging or powering devices such as webcams and laptops, with power capability depending on cable length (up to 100W at 10m and 60W at 15m). For video workflows, it also supports DisplayPort Alt Mode up to 4K@60Hz on two DisplayPort lanes—useful for VR setups, 4K displays, and modern laptop-to-display or laptop-to-AV system deployments.
The cable’s USB-C terminal is designed with a curved profile to help reduce interference when plugged into tight spaces on monitors and similar devices. It is also designed to reduce susceptibility to ESD, EMI, and RFI, and it operates without requiring external power.
