Pirastro Passione Solo Violin E String, 4/4, Medium - Loop-End

Pirastro Passione Solo Violin E String

The Pirastro Passione Solo Violin E String is a medium-gauge Silvery Steel replacement for 4/4 violins, available with a ball end or loop end. Both options share the same material, gauge, and published tension. Choose the attachment that matches your violin's tailpiece or fine tuner when ordering.

For players preparing a replacement E string for violin practice, rehearsals, or performances, the two variants make attachment selection straightforward. Choose a ball-end violin E string for hardware that accepts a ball fitting, or a loop-end violin E string for a compatible hook attachment. Inspect the connection on your instrument before selecting your option, especially when ordering a spare for your case.

Pirastro identifies each version with a separate manufacturer article number, helping players, teachers, and instrument technicians specify the correct replacement. The ball version is 311381, while the loop version is 311981. Both use envelope packaging and the same string identification colors. Match the article number, instrument size, and attachment style to your setup for a clear, practical purchasing decision.
