The adapter cable is designed for connecting a 37" microphone level device with an XLRF connector to a device with a TA5F connector. It is specifically wired for dynamic microphone input to transmitters that have earlier type 5-pin, non-servo inputs. This adapter is compatible with older models such as UM200 and UM400 series, but not with newer models like UM400a or any SM series.
