The software plays DSS and DSS Pro dictation files along with WMA, MP3 and WAV/AIFF audio in the background while you type in a word processor. Playback speed, tone control and noise cancellation help with fast or noisy recordings, and on Windows the module can hand dictation files to Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8.0 or later for speech recognition.

Retailers position the kit for typists working with files from Olympus DS, DM, WS and VN-PC recorders, and the software also supports author ID settings, job status labels such as finished or pending, and shared network folders so a small office can pass dictations from author to typist.
