Housed in a space-saving 1RU chassis, each unit provides 8 balanced analog inputs and 16 balanced analog outputs using industry-standard DB-25 connectors. These breakout boxes are ideal for AV installations that require higher output channel counts for distributed audio or multi-zone configurations. Engineered for reliability and simplicity, both models ship fully assembled and ready for rack integration, with external locking power supplies and rear-panel USB ports for service and setup.
The BB-816 delivers all analog I/O functionality for standard BlueBridge DSP systems, while the BB-816DT adds integrated Danteā¢ digital audio networking. The Dante-enabled version supports plug-and-play compatibility with Dante ecosystems, enabling seamless multi-channel audio-over-IP routing across standard Ethernet infrastructure. These versatile breakout boxes are perfect for applications where a higher output-to-input ratio is required and where network audio integration may or may not be needed.
