The TOA HX-5B-WP is a 2-way compact variable dispersion array speaker designed to deliver controlled sound coverage in demanding indoor and protected outdoor installations. Its four-module architecture combines four low-frequency cone drivers with twelve balanced-dome high-frequency drivers, while adjustable 15°, 30°, 45°, and 60° vertical dispersion modes let installers tailor coverage to the acoustic environment.

Built for spaces where reverberation or elevated background noise can reduce speech and music clarity, the HX-5B-WP provides 600W continuous program power handling at 8 ohms. Horizontal coverage remains 100° above 2 kHz, while the configurable vertical pattern supports focused or expanded audience coverage. Up to four speaker units can also be stacked when an installation requires a larger array or increased coverage.

The sealed polypropylene enclosure carries an IPX4 splash-protection rating and supports indoor or under-eave installation when positioned as specified. A 4 kHz crossover integrates the low- and high-frequency sections, while sensitivity ranges from 96 dB in 60° mode to 99 dB in 15° mode. The black, rust-resistant construction and supplied hanging brackets support permanent professional sound installations.
