The DSC PG9985 PowerG Wireless Flood Detector provides early warning of water leaks using a supervised external probe connected by a 6-foot cable. The 912-919 MHz detector communicates through the two-way PowerG protocol and reports both water alarms and probe-disconnection conditions to compatible security systems.

Designed for basements, utility rooms, mechanical spaces, appliances, and other areas vulnerable to flooding, the PG9985 separates the transmitter from the sensing point. Installers can position the transmitter higher on a wall while placing the probe where water is most likely to collect. A visible link-quality LED helps identify an appropriate wireless mounting location before permanent installation.

The PG9985 operates from a 3V CR123 lithium battery and provides up to eight years of typical battery life. Automatic low-battery reporting and four-minute supervision intervals support ongoing system monitoring, while cover and break-away tamper functions help detect interference. The North American PG9985 operates from 912-919 MHz and is compatible with supported PowerSeries Neo, PowerSeries Pro, IQ Pro, and other appropriate PowerG receiver configurations.
