The AJA DANTE-12GAM is a high-performance Audio over IP (AoIP) converter built to embed and disembed SDI audio to a Dante network—and return Dante audio back to SDI—in a compact, rugged Mini-Converter form factor. Designed for professional broadcast and Pro AV workflows, it supports a single 12G-SDI video channel with independent 12G-SDI input and output, enabling simultaneous audio embedding and disembedding for up to 32 total Dante audio channels (up to 16 channels in and up to 16 channels out).

Built for modern IP audio integration, DANTE-12GAM supports Dante alongside AES67 interoperability and SMPTE ST 2110-30 AoIP, making it a practical bridge between SDI infrastructures and standards-based IP audio environments. With dual etherCON GigE ports for primary/secondary redundancy and PoE+ support on the primary port, it simplifies deployment while maintaining the resilience expected in mission-critical live production and facility installs.

For scalable systems, the platform can be expanded to dual-channel capability via an optional license and the addition of a compatible SFP option, increasing total Dante capacity up to 64 channels. Front-panel status and configuration controls, plus web-based monitoring, provide clear operational visibility whether the unit is installed in a rack, flypack, or remote production kit.
